Small Town

A Short Film by Moni Wood

When a successful businessman returns to his hometown diner, he hopes a long-time waitress might help him find his long-lost love.

About the Film

At one time or another, we’ve all wrestled with the thought of “What if…? It’s one of the few universal truths that strikes a chord in all of us.

What if I had made a different choice, taken a different path, or just tried to be a different person? We wonder if the life we lived, the one we are living, the one that could be, would be better if we just had taken that chance, kept trying to reach that dream, or just said hello.

Small Town is a story of two people, a resigned small-town waitress and the boy-next-door turned a success, who face and reflect on these questions, both in the past and the present, over coffee and pie.
